What is an Occupant Mailing List?
An Occupant Mailing Lists is a list of addresses (or addresses with names where available) that comes from a list source of over 150 million residents* and 12 million business locations.
*houses, townhouses, apartments, condominiums, trailers, places people live
It starts with USPS’s (United States Postal Service) master database records of addresses throughout the country. From there it goes through list compilers and our wholesaler who added the software to quickly and easily allow us to filter this data to deliver only the data we are looking for.
For example, we can provide a dental client that specializes in serving children with a list of the 15,000 residences closest to their office where the median income is at least $70,000/year and at least 75% of them have children.
Further, in order to help assure you know and are satisfied with what you will be getting, we’ll create a list report for you at no charge, free. Only then will we actually purchase the list and extract the data in ready digital form so that our (or your) mail house will have what they need to do their part.
What separates Helpful Marketing from other mailing list providers is the technology we employ to provide the most targeted Occupant data you can find. Our drive-time radius gathers prospects who can most easily reach a destination. Polygon mapping technology lets users draw their geography; great for designating franchise territories as well as selecting areas required by city ordinances.
Most people don’t associate targeting with Occupant lists, but it turns out that communities within the same carrier route often look the same. That’s why we offer carrier route targeting with our Occupant data mailing lists: from average income in a carrier route to median age, home value, length of residence, even percentage (%) of ethnicity in a carrier route.
While all Occupant data is derived from the same master database of all addresses in the country, through our partners at Mailers Haven we make sure our clients receive only the best of it. A quick example of this is retirement homes where the postal service may call for 100 or more address drops, we limit our drops to just 20 – the number of people we have found, through experience, able and willing to respond.
